A 17-inch radial version appeared in DUNLOP “TT100GP” series, which has been loved as a high grip tire since long ago. The size of 120 / 70ZR17 and 180 / 55ZR17 will be the main products of it that size is compatible with recent neoclassic motorcycle.
Speaking of DUNLOP TT100GP, it is a biased tire that has been loved by many riders as a synonym for domestic high grip tire since the ’70s. It is currently being upgraded internally and has been lineup centered on sizes such as 18 inch and 19 inch that fit the classic motorcycle.
“TT100 GP Radial” released this time was remade as a radial tire for neoclassic motorcycles such as KAWASAKI Z900RS and YAMAHA XSR900/700, following the original tread pattern. It’s a tire that maintains the performance of the latest radial tires, but it gets a more classical look.
While following the image of TT100GP, the tread pattern has been modified to have optimum rigidity for radial structure using DUNLOP’s analysis technology, and it is compatible with design, performance and abrasion resistance. It adopts a 2-cut belt which is highly responsive to the inner structure and a Joint-Less Belt (JLB) structure emphasizing stability on the rear, and is realizing characteristics that are easy to handle without experience. It has secured abrasion resistance while exhibiting excellent grip under wet and low temperature, with silica blending into the compound and blending of polymer with high bonding force with it.
